Price Definition:

cost - Represents the price at which the supplier will sell the part to the repair shop.
  • In the case of recycled parts, this price does NOT include any markup; however, markup is typically allowed on recycled parts by insurance companies, and the markup is reflected in the "est." price displayed for such parts.
  • In the case of non-recycled part types, this price includes any available discounts off the "est." price.

est./list - Represents the price that an insurance company would be expected to pay for the part.
  • In the case of recycled parts, this price generally includes a markup as noted on the search results and/or the Compare Assembly screen.
  • In the case of non-recycled part types, this is generally a list price established by the supplier (there may be an adjustment to this list price for certain carriers).

On body parts, you may see one of the following pricing terms:

actual (pricing) - Indicates that the prices displayed are the actual prices of the part in its current condition. This price takes any damage into account. The supplier does not expect to give an allowance for the part's condition.
undmg (pricing) - Indicates that the prices displayed are the prices that would be charged if the part was undamaged.
